WAY TOO LONG

Heaven knows if anyone is even still following this blog so I have decided to keep going to record the history of what is happening in our family. It has been a trying spring to say the least. Too much going on and each person seems to be dealing with something on an individual level. We have reached those teen years and that is all I'm going to say on that. Zachary came home after trying first semester in Grade 10 at the local high school and decided that homeschooling was where he was going to stay. It was to say the least an eye opening experience to what the world is offering out there. Jacob has also returned to homeschooling after being back in the public school system for the last 3 years. He is enjoying being away from the stress and negativity of the school environment. Mitchell continues on at school and is now enjoying community basketball for grades 4-5. Julianna loves play school and thoroughly enjoys going everyday. We now await an appointment for another test to show what is happening with her soft palate before they schedule her for more surgery. We continue to understand more but she would not be understood by the general public. She is so great about it and doesn't get easily frustrated which is a wonderful blessing. Stephen is still travelling back and forth to Fort McMurray. He is now on the 4 day shift which creates loads more driving but allows him more time at home. I am attempting to hold down the fort which at times seems a bit more challenging than when the boys were younger. As the saying goes, "This to shall pass."

The Busy Life

After the one year anniversary of bringing Julianna home I have decided to continue our story on a blog devoted to the whole family and all that is going on. There never seems to be a dull moment with four children in the house and this way we can let people know what we are up to here on the other side of the country. Enjoy following our adventures as life continues on its very busy pace.
